Troy Black

Oversees the planning, implementation, and execution of financial and risk management operations for JGC and our subsidiaries and affiliates. Black’s responsibilities encompass several key financial functions, including reporting, planning, financing, treasury, liquidity, and tax. His risk management duties include the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of processes to safeguard assets and minimize risks. Black also works closely with the Executive Vice President, CEO and Chairman to shape and implement policy for JGC.

Before joining JGC, Black served as the Chief Financial Officer of URG and as CFO of Touchstone. Prior to URG, Black worked at Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company in leadership positions across commercial development, financial operations, strategic planning, and asset management. He began his career in public accounting with Deloitte and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Troy earned his BA from Duke University and MBA from the University of Washington. He is involved in several professional organizations including the Seattle Society of CFAs, Washington Society of CPAs, NAIOP Washington and Urban Land Institute (ULI). He greatly enjoys coaching youth sports and supporting community development.
